Yes, we are not dead. Quite the opposite, as a matter of fact. Fresh off a renewed grant from the Sasktachewan FilmPool we are showing a new short at the Cathedral Village Arts Festival.
The screening will be part of an adult-aged showing by local indie filmmakers called The Screening Under the Steeple. The event is on Friday, May 25th starting at 11pm at the Artesian on 13th (2627 13th Ave., corner of 13th and Angus St.) in our hometown of Regina, Saskatchewan. Come out and support us and the other filmmakers who will be showing their stuff.
The video will be posted right here the day after, but why not come out and support us and shit? What, are you some kind of low-life? Don't be a scumbag. Oh, ohhhhhhh! I get it- well screw you, buddy.

Art on Fire is happy to announce we received more funding from the Sasktachewan FilmPool and as such we are filming again in February 2012, this time in thrilling HD! So look forward to more crazy antics from Art on Fire!

As promised, here is the final piece from our Film Pool Premier One screening. An erotic adventure lampooning the sexually charged cable anthology shows that rose to prominance in the early 90's. But don't worry, you will feel absolutely no tingle in your jeans from an Art on Fire erotic presentation; just the sting of embarrassment and a maybe a belly laugh.
In other exciting news, we are set to film next weekend, and among the projects we are going to tackle is an Art on Fire christmas special. More details in the coming weeks.

Here is the internet debut of our latest short, Drunk Gourmet. We had originally debuted this short this past Friday at the Saskatchewan Film Pool Premier One screening. Now, it is on the internet for all to enjoy, so check it out.

On the topic of the Saskatchewan Film Pool Premier One screening, our crazy make 'em ups went far better then we expected on the big screen and we are over-joyed to have had the opportunity to screen our stuff. Special thanks to Trish and Bernie and everyone from the FilmPool for making the night so awesome, and giving us a far classier venue than we deserve. We would like to extend our thanks and congratulations to the other filmmakers who had films screened- we hope to do it all again in the near future!
A collection of sketches we titled "Art on Fire Comedy Showcase" will be screened as part of the Saskatchewan Filmpool's Premiere Screening series on October 14th! This will be the first public screening of any stuff Art on Fire has put out, so it should be exciting. Included in the film are two brand new, yet to be seen Art on Fire shorts, namely "Shit Faced Gourmet" (see the banner pic above) and "Black Lace Chronicles" plus two you can watch right here ("Asbestos Removal" and "Happy Birthday Nathan").
If you are in the Regina area, the screening is at the Artesian on 13th (2627 13th Ave., corner of 13th and Angus St.) at 7:30 on Friday, October 14th. Rob and possibley myself will be doing a Q & A panel after the screening, so that should be delightfully awkward.

Welcome to the brand new Art on Fire site! Fresh off of filming three new shorts, we thought it was high time to get this website going. Here it is. La-de-fucking-da. There is not much here at the moment, but that will change in the coming weeks. Expect a new video by the end of the week, and some other exciting shit.
